About Sophia’s Portal

Sophia’s Portal is the Door of Wisdom. Within your heart lies a door that opens to the divine dimension, a realm not made with human hands. This doorway, or portal, lies within each of us. It is given to us by our Creator. It is part of our basic DNA. Opening this door is a movement into the eternal, a journey to the core essence of what it means to be human, to be alive!

There are two great symbols of the Christian faith: the cross and the chalice. The cross is by far the most popular. It speaks to the outward and visible aspects of the mystery of Christ. It is there for all to see. Jesus said, “And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.” John 12:32 NET Bible.

The other salient symbol of Christianity is the chalice, or the Holy Grail. The cross speaks of the exoteric, public aspect of Jesus’ life and work. The chalice, on the other hand, speaks of the esoteric, private aspect of Jesus’ life and the work: the Christ-consciousness that gave him the strength to take up the cross and the vision, wisdom, and knowledge of who he was and why he was here. It is this inner way, the interior life that Sophia’s Portal dares to embrace. This is reality. This is life. This is the Door of Wisdom.
